The area of the incoherently located sports facilities in close proximity to the city centre, which do not communicate with each other, forms an impenetrable barrier. The public area appears isolated, without social control and does not attract people to visit. Users who get beyond its walls easily get lost in the area. The area is closed in on itself and the inside is in disarray. For a successful resurrection of the area, we propose to revive its basic functions. In the proposal, we address its external and internal dysfunctional links and clear the area of barriers. The basic arteries and places that bring life and clear order to the area are created. We continue the urban axis of the city, which is unnaturally interrupted by the sports complex. We establish three main initiation points that are connected by paved linear paths into one compact whole. These are the skate/bike park, the piazzetta of the Sokol Hall and Smetanovy gardens. This way we activate the area.
