Jablonec nad Nisou

The design of the area is based on its shape, location and surrounding nature, which played a key role in the design. The area is located between the swimming hall and a steep slope, where a pumptrack and a dirt track are planned. Entrances are proposed from the four corners. The main focal points are the skatepark and the amphitheatre in the hillside, which are connected by a new central communication route. A circular canopy, located above the amphitheater seating area, provides views of the central area of the site as well as the pumptrack and the relaxation areas along the U Přehrady Street.
The whole area is divided into four functional zones for roller sports and leisure activities. The main zone consists of a skatepark with a granite and concrete surface. Another zone is a concrete bowl, designed for more experienced riders. Between the bowl and the skatepark there is an elevated big section with competition features. The last section is the pumptrack, which, due to the limits of the area, is designed as a pair of paths of different levels with a turning radius at the end. The active zones are complemented by rest areas with furnishing and wooden and concrete steps. Children's play elements made of natural materials are also placed in the area under the shade of trees. The site is equipped with new public lighting and integrated chargers. Visitors can also use the public toilets and refreshments in a small building near the skatepark. The paved areas are designed as a combination of monolithic concrete with a variation of coloured pigments and granite paving, with a central resting area consisting of self binding gravel.
