The design of the skatepark is based on the morphology of the terrain. In the flatter part a skate plaza is designed. The level of the floor is related to the adjacent running track and uses the existing wall as an obstacle and also as a partitioning element. In the southern part, a wooden stage with picnic tables is connected to the plaza. This creates a place to rest in the shade of the existing mature trees and overlooking both the plaza and Sokolovna. An elevated platform with a bowl partially recessed into the hillside follows the plaza. This design creates a more intimate setting and also separates the skatepark from the adjacent cabins. The platform around the bowl is bordered by a wall that serves as a barrier, seating and also helps to hold the slope and prevent water from running onto the concrete surfaces. The privacy of the cabins is also enhanced by planting shrubs in the slope above the bowl. A new fire pit and seating in the form of benches and a community table are located at the top of the slope in the northern section. These facilities, together with the playground on the slope below, create a new meeting and relaxation place overlooking the whole “Sokolák”
