The "Skateholders" project shows how even a small intervention can transform public space and expand the possibilities of its use. Repairing the edge of a wall, adding a handrail to the stairs and adding benches around the path - these are minimalist interventions that, in addition to visually completing the space, encourage users to use it in creative ways. A place that was primarily just a passageway can thus become a meeting and leisure space. It really only takes a little.

The project was developed as part of the city's candidacy for the title of European Capital of Culture 2028. Through architectural and artistic interventions, we are creating a space for urban sports as well as for the wider public.
